If you have ever had an exam you know that they will often dilate your eyes. Well that was a first for me. Immediately my whole world was blurry. It was at this point that they had me go to pick out glasses...hmm. I am sure the man in the waiting room was amused to watch me try on a pair then practically hug the mirror to see how they looked. I had narrowed it down to two pair and decided to take a picture with my cell phone to show Doug. Pulling out my cell, I realized I couldn't find the camera feature, and when I did, I couldn't tell how the picture looked. So I was holding it up the sales lady asking how it looked:
Me: How's this one
Sales lady: I think you want to take a closer picture
Me: How about this one
Sales lady: Yes that looks good
Me: Can you see how to save the photos?
Sales lady: Where do I look?
Me: Here I think
Man in waiting room: quiet snickering (assumed)
Needless to say, I am sure it was quite a sight. I am quite surprised they let me walk out of there and drive home. I even asked if it was safe for me to drive and they said yes, but I sure didn't feel safe. Good thing I knew my way home otherwise it may have been a very scary ride.
Now that I can see again (which took several hours to resume making my CPR renewal exam a bit difficult to take) I can laugh about the whole experience, especially the very unflattering close up pictures of me trying on glasses with a blank stare and very large pupils.

Note the man in the background. Who needs a magazine when the entertainment is this good!?! :0) And yes, this was my final choice...stylish, eh? :0)

My tummy kinda hurts too....tee hee!
I would have thought it would be dangerous to drive home like that...boy o boy. It is probably there way of keeping the monotony out of their job. :D
