Apple BLossom Festival was this weekend in Wenatchee. So, after working until midnight on Friday, Doug and got up early on Saturday morning and headed over. And yes, 6am is early, especially when bedtime was close to 1am. We made it in time to relax a little before the parade. I headed off to the parade with Riann, Alex, John, Julianne, Jack, Bernie and all the kids while Doug stayed at home to repair the CV axil boot on our car...fun fun! I had a little munchin on my lap for the entire parade. She enjoyed teddy grahams and cotton candy while bopping away to the music in the parade. We headed home that evening after a BBQ dinner with everyone plus John, Joy, Susie, Ramona and Christian. We were tired and planned on napping the next day, but our friends Chad and Sarah rated higher than a nap, and we ended up learning and playing "the Settlers of Catan" game that evening and thoroughly enjoyed it.
