It not only snowed Friday, but also Saturday and Sunday. Today the sun is finally out, and there is no sign of the snowy weekend.

Snow in March
Well, I thought spring was well on its way, but seems like that groundhog always has to get in the last word. He predicted a long winter, and low and behold...it is snowing! Kind of odd to see it snowing around the blossoming trees and budding daffodils. Doug is now longing to ski...if only I had this weekend off.

Off to Vietnam
Well, my brother and sister-in-law are off to Vietnam to pick up their precious little girl. Yesterday morning I dropped them off at the airport (K and J, I think they tied with you for the "how much luggage can we fit in the subaru" award :0)) at which point they were already 4 hours into...well lets just say a very loooong day. They were to fly 12 hrs to Seoul Korea, then another 4 hrs would put them in Hanoi Vietnam. I was very excited this morning to see that they had blogged from the airport in Korea. Looking forward to reading more about their adventure. Read about their journey at fromwhomallblessingsflow.blogspot.com

There's no place like home
Doug is glad to be home after a long weekend in Kansas promoting D-tips. He and his business buddies went to Vision (an automotive convention of sorts) and hosted a booth for D-tips. They gave away lots of loot, and made connections with a variety of people. But with freezing temperatures, and far too little sleep, Doug was very pleased to make it home back to his loving wife(me)...and I was very pleased to have him back!!
Doug started his new job at Microsoft on Monday. He started out with new employee orientation, and because of some mix up, he wasn't on their list. He ended up with a hand written stick on badge while all the others (150 or so) had nice preprinted badges that allowed them in and out of the building. He is such a trooper, I would have been at my wit's end had I been in his shoes. Luckily I was not...and in the end it all worked out. He is enjoying his new position, and is pleased at how friendly all of his teammates have been.
On a totally different note, MyLinh will soon be coming home!! Alex and Riann finally got their travel approval call, and will leave on March 18th. They get to meet her on March 23rd and she will be in their arms March 24th. They hope to head home from Vietnam April 13th. Please pray for safe travel, and a wonderful time of bonding between them all.
